The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
